Sanctuary in the Schools

We believe in our public schools, and want to help make them as excellent as possible.  The Sanctuary CDC partners with schools to encourage and provide needed support to students and staff.

What are we doing in the schools?

Mobilizing volunteers
Volunteer tutors are mobilized into the schools we partner with, meeting weekly with students who need help with reading and math.

School supply drives
Student and teacher supplies and paper.

Winter wear drives
Coats, hats and mittens are collected for students in November each year.

Staff Recognition
School staff work hard and are so seldom recognized for their work. Each spring, Sanctuary CDC holds a staff recognition at each school, honoring those who serve our children.
