Rev. Richard Coleman
Most recently, Rev. Coleman has served as Outreach and Community Engagement Pastor at Church of new Life Christian Ministries in Richfield, MN since 2003. In addition, with his wife, Pastor Mary Coleman, he founded Servant Leaders’ Support, Inc. to Strengthen and Reconcile Christian Leaders to Transform Communities. As the Chief Program Consultant at SLS, he worked toward strengthening the interpersonal health and well-being of the leaders of groups, churches, businesses and other organizations in our community.
Additional Roles:
- Former COO of Kingdom Oil, a Twin Cities Based community foundation from 2001 to 2008.
- Fulfilled Board of Examiners requirements for ordination and consecrated an itinerant Minister of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1976.
- Served as Senior Pastor of African Methodist Episcopal Churches from 1982 to 2001, including a ten year pastorate at Minneapolis’ St. Peter’s A.M.E. Church.
- Founded the Richard Allen Community services, Inc. in 1997.
- Serves as board member and officer of several faith-based and community service organizations including African American Adoption Agency, Greater Minnesota Association of Evangelicals (Vice-Chair), Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, Global Horizons, Inc. Co-Chair of the 2011 Minnesota Prayer Breakfast.
Marque Jensen
Marque Jensen serves as Program Director in the area of Community Engagement. He and his family have lived on the north side for over 20 years. He is an ordained minister and also serves in significant leadership roles with Sanctuary Covenant Church, including racial righteousness group facilitation and occasional preaching. Marque has taught at North High School, Crown College and various other schools. He has also led student affairs diversity efforts in local colleges.
Marque holds a BA degree from Minnesota Bible College, and an MA in Education from the University of St. Thomas.
Jennifer Lachermeier
Jennifer Lachermeier serves as a Program Director for Love Minneapolis and assists with administrative duties for the Sanctuary CDC. Jennifer has lived with her husband and 2 children in North Minneapolis since 2003 and is passionate about her community. She has seen first hand the barriers that are exist in North Minneapolis, but also believes that it is a beautiful place with beautiful people with many opportunities for growth and development. Jennifer desires to use her gifts to help families become healthy and empowered.
Jennifer graduated from Bethel University in 2003 with a B.A. in Communications and a Minor in Fine Art.
Tryenyse Jones
Tryenyse is passionate about holistic youth development and sees the importance of youth understanding their worth and value as it relates to their success. She skillfully weaves in her past experiences and education to positively impact the lives of the young women she works with. Tryenyse lives in North Minneapolis with her husband Stacey and their son Priest. Tryenyse and Stacey also pastor a hip hop church, Urban Jerusalem, where Tryenyse serves as the worship pastor and leader. Their hip hop worship band “Luv Jones and the Theo Soul Crew” also tours and leads worship experiences across the country.
